What would it be like without light? You wouldn't be able to see because our eyes interpret images according to light. With the absence of it, there is simply nothing to see. Without light, we would be blind. There would be no movies or television to watch. There would be no Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie. We wouldn't be able to get into our cars and drive around the country. There will be no races and no Michael Schumacher. Without light, there would be nothing to illuminate the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower. Without light, there will be no life as we know it today. Never forget to bring a lantern or flash light for camping. The woods or wilderness can get very dark specially when no moon is showing and all the clouds are covering the sky. It is advisable for each camper to have his or her own flashlight. There may be only one or two lanterns for the whole group, but each must have their own flashlight. Having a flashlight is pretty handy in the woods at night. Since light travels far in darkness, finding a lost person will not be that hard to find. Even in the old days when electricity was non-existent, campers relied on fire or candlelight to give them much needed illumination. It would be pretty difficult to look for something on the ground without the light. Car keys, for instance, can fall out of your pocket. That's probably one of the unluckiest things that can happen to you. If you don't find it at once, some rodent could haul it over to their hidey-hole and that would be that. Just remember not to leave your lanterns or flashlights behind when you go camping. We often take it for granted, but light really is the most important tool that we have. |
